Get Involved

You can help improve the lives of our families.

There are many ways you or your organization can get involved and support Mercy House’s mission and clients, from donations to unit adoptions. We are grateful for decades of community support and we thank you for your contribution, no matter what form.

Wish List

We want our clients to feel at home while they’re with us, and to accomplish that, we rely on donations of items that make each shelter unit clean, comfortable, calming, and functional. This is the current wish list for our families. Please check back for updates, and always feel free to call 540-432-1812 with any questions about donations. Donations can be brought to the Mercy House office any weekday from 9am to 4pm.

Please contact Nan at 540-432-1812 or email nancy@themercyhouse.org if you are interested in adopting a unit.

Customers take an ornament home and then bring a present back to the taproom to be put under the tree. We collect those presents right before Christmas to give out to our children.
